Kombucha
Make a sweet tea
- 1 liter boiling water
- 3 tea bags (black tea, no flavoring)
- 50-70 gram sugar
- The the very first time start with half the tea amount
Combining into jar
- Cool tea to room temperature, pour into glass jar with 250 ml (or more) starter tea
- Stir
- Cover jar with cotton cloth and rubber band
- Let sit for 7 days
Bottling
- Bottle at approx 7-14 days
- Can combine with a bit of pineapple juice or ginger juice or similar
- Retain enough liquid to be starter for next batch
- Leave closed bottles at room temperature for 1-4 days, then chill in fridge
- Always refrigerate before opening
